I enjoy reading and writing and when I was in school I was good at writing short stories. What inspired me to write was reading a lot of Steven King and Jackie Collin books. Living the street life I saw a lot of events in my life, some good and some bad. But by the grace of God I made it out of the streets a solider and every solider has a story to tell. So sit back and enjoy the stories of a solider out Hartford Connecticut.

Jonas Brinkley

I am a 25 year old self-educated young black man originally from Tifton, Georgia where I was raised by my mother along with three older brothers. My father never played a role in my life.

The majority of the experiences of the character Troy from my book, are some of my own life experiences. In spite of my hardships I graduated high school with an A average. I am currently attending Global University for Evangelism and Discipleship through correspondence classes. I am also attending Theosophical University. I enjoy writing poetry.

My main objective is to show people that no matter what a person goes through in life, he or she has the choice to stay stagnate or see their situation evolve into something beautiful. “Many people will reject your attempt to be a better person for many reasons, but I encourage everyone to continue to move forward and you will eventually find someone who believes in you as much as you believe in yourself.” Jonas Brinkley.

Steve Evans

My name is Steven Evans, I live in Commerce, Oklahoma. I'M separated and have 3 grown boys. I love shooting pool, writing poetry and I’m kind of addicted to history and discovery channels. I'm not very active now after four surgeries on my spine and three heart attacks.

I have always liked to write and had some bright spots in school but I didn't start writing seriously until 2010. I like the dark and disturbing poems most of all. To me they're just more interesting and there's a lot more you can do with them. I do write the romantic and love poems, but I just really enjoy the darker side of life and love when it comes to poetry.

I have written one collection of poetry and I am currently working on another called “Savor the Darkness.” I also have a short horror story that I'm working on with Life After Death Publicationz called "Weeping Willow," but I want it to be a full novel before I am done.
